For the past year or so I have found myself spending more and more of my online time on EAB.  The moderation was turning me off here.  Now there are a couple of members who have gotten thousands of posts in a relatively short amount of time and most of them seem to be just blabber that you have to find your way through to seek the real info you are looking for.  I have stated before that this site is being taken over by "social butterflies" whose Amiga interests are secondary to their social online life.  I really wish they would spend more time on Facebook or Myspace.

I can only think of one and he spends more on real Amiga items a month than most of us in a year. Doesn't seem secondary to me.

EAB is always off topic and no more helpful. Although they don't have ex owners urging us ike a loon that shit running emulators must be embraced and is all we deserve  :roflmao:

All discussion here should be communicated via 68K assembler subroutines that generate output on an Amiga. It's the only way to be sure.

I don't come here just to talk about Amigas i also like the social aspect of it too. There's always playing and joking going on and i think that's great. Which brings me to my point, Amiga.org is a community and not just a tech database. The fact people are socialising is a sign of a healthy community.  

I participate in other forums regularly and a couple have really good  communities as well. My favourite other than Amiga.org is Dailyburn.com  which is a lot of fun. That's the way forums should be. Fun

Exactly, not everyone will gel or agree I know but if we can keep it respectful then what's the harm?

The same could be for Hyperion, as they had nothing to do with the ariginal Amiga team lead by Jay Miner.
What are you trying to demonstrate. Hyperion got a license as well as cusa to use the name.
Or are you telling me that the renamed terons were really amigas because the AmigaOne sticker on them?.

Original A1000/OCS chipset designers had bugger all useful input into....

500,600,1200,1500,2000,3000,4000,CDTV,CD32

but they all run Amiga game disks.

OS4/MOS/AROS natively run Amiga applications same as real Amigas with 24bit video cards.
