A1 Linux problem

well the A1XE is my first ever tower i have been
using laptops and A1200 its now bolted together
and works fine iam a newby to Linux so bare with
me.I have got it installed ok following the guide but
can't seem to type anything when it asks for a password and comes up with a error that some port
is'nt working and yes i have chosen a keyboard driver.I hope when i wake up in the morning someone might have answered.Linux installation
really SUX  :-(  :-(  :-(

it comes up with the error
hub,c: connect-debounce failed,port 2 disabled
NO CHEAP PEGASOS PLUGS PLEASE ?
