The 68030 is as compatible as the '020 unlike the '040/'060 so even hardware hitting demos will move smoother.
Blizzard 1230-IV is probably the finest accelerator for A1200. 68030/50MHz is quite powerful but still inexpensive and best choice for classic AGA games.
