Sneak Peak at AMIStore on my X1000

Is this going to be cross platform? I was hoping this was going to be an application that helped unity.

It works on MorphOS too so I dont see problem from that POV. But generally I dont see much chance for success for this or phoenixconsole's app store because developers do not want to ask money for their developments or already have a distributor. Probably even more difficult on AROS where open source sentiment is (naturally) strong.

There are both paid and free programs there, the option is for the developer to decide.

I think using AmiStore may look very good to developers who would rather write code than handle marketing, sales and distribution.

In any case, I look forward to trying it myself once it has released.

I am sure you do because you have written new software you are selling through AmiStore :-)

It is right to be excited about it. Idea is right, so is execution.

that'd be fine as well, of course. i just figured pascal might get the answers faster if he contacted them directly rather than on a forum, but, hey, whatever works.

If answered here Trevor don't have to answer to every single query personally. PM or emails are huge time wasters.

And this is his site after all
