If you with to run Amiga games in UAE 1.25. GHz can be little slow. YMMV but when it comes to emulation faster is better. PowerMac G4 at 2 GHz or G5 could be better but IMO real (basic) Amiga is the best for games and demos.

For Telnet you can use Term or AmTelnet.

There are way too many 68k programs to list all system friendly applications but generally productivity software runs.

I will also be testing classic apps like games and demos in emulator on morphOS.

I have installed AmiTradeCenter, AmiNetRadio, Scout, Blacks Editor (text editor) and SID4Amiga.

UAE - Can someone tell me how to set the paths right to find the rom files
and how can I run adf files? I have a legal copy of amiga forever and trying to use those roms but no luck, thought I was setting the paths right, but no good. Another major blow to my liking this setup. Sorry but Icaros lets you insert your amiga forever cd and it installs everything beautifully...

Well, it's not complicated. I even provided presets for A1200, A500 and Workbench usage in the archive, in Conf/ directory.
Assuming you put the kickstart files in the right place (roms/ directory), you just start UAE that way:

uae -f conf/A500.conf or
uae -f conf/A1200.conf or
uae -f conf/wb.conf
and so on ...

if you need to pass an adf, you do it that way:
uae -f conf/A1200.conf -0 blah.adf

Now, i suggest you bind UAE to ADF mimetype in Ambient with that kind of commaand : path:to/uae/uae -f path:to/uae/conf/blah.conf -0 %sp to ADF
That way, you can start any ADF just by doubleclicking it.

So to sum up : First browser does not work, the the "Ultimate" add on borks the whole system, reinstall, now milky tracker does not work and neither does a bunch of other stuff depending on different sdl libraries (I believe I saw error messages asking for version 10,11,12)

Did you install SDL?

Next bit of criticism is on games. While its nice that people ported stuff, I don't want to spend hours hunting down game data files... most of the good game ports you'll need to hunt down original copies of those games to get the morphos versions to work, which is quite frankly in my opinion, another project I don't need since I already have enough problems to try and fix with this.

It is not always possible due to copyright reasons.

Finally I will just say this... I wish everyone working on any NG amiga project the best, but I am not encouraged or feeling like paying for this is a good idea
at the moment. (Honestly I'd rather contribute 111$ to AROS right now) I will continue to work on my problems and see if I can sort them out and justify paying for this. I would like to pay just to help them continue to develop this... But so far all in all its been an extremely negative experience.
