If it's a 40Mhz then these are the settings:
 
J5 OFF
J6 ON
J11 ON
CN8 OFF
 
J2 should also be off.

I got a little experience with them, as I have about 5 of them :)
Glad it worked, if not then it would have been either faulty ram or processor, but that's pretty rare on a GVP.
