Ok guys, bad news.

Nothing happens.. tried the following:

Booting without memory, with 68040 ON: Black screen
Booting without memory, with 68040 OFF: Works normal, but PPS software doesn't 'see' the card (get the 'You need a progressive card' message)
Booting with memory (8mb), with 68040 OFF: Black, then Gray, then Yellow screen with Power led blinking 10 times, and reboots again to black, gray and yellow. Can't reboot by keyboard.

After a while watching the color cycling on the screen, I got a 'SOFTWARE ERROR - CLICK LEFT BUTTON' and then a (not very informative?) screen.

I'm attaching it.

Btw, I checked and double checked jumper settings, it's ok.

Thanks!

Seems like a memory error, I got this too from a failing BSC AT 2008.
Try taking out all the memory and then insert one of them and each time add one, just hope they are not all dead.

yeah, the battery leaked, but it seems that nothing is damaged (at least at first sight)

Is there something else I can try? I don't have another A2000 to test the card..

Is it removed and cleaned ?
If not, do it right away!
