Sad, but true. In seeking to keep their Amiga readers but broaden their audience base, they lost most of their old Amiga readers and gained ... Nothing, I'm afraid.
Someone might use this to argue that Amiga people are narrow-minded and obsessed, which may be true, but the fact is it usually happens this way when some successful (I mean content-wise, here, not profitability) something decides to change direction abruptly, even if the new product is much better (Remember "New Coke?")
