I don't have an idea about servers, but what can make a server like that or this or another go down for three days?
A1200, Lateral 32GB CF, internal Dvd, ACA 1230/56 with an MKII Fast ATA at 9,5Mb/s, another A1200 BPPC project in progress (more or less), and posting from my own/better C64x in my Tv using Hdmi.

I already visited a1k.org and all they were saying is that it's holiday and they will fix it tomorrow, more or less:

Thomas says for example: "It is a holiday, who should fix it? Have been waiting until Tuesday." (Google translation).

Edit: Oh, sorry I think you have to be registered. You can search it, it's called "Ist das EAB platt?" http://www.a1k.org/forum

Edit again: And I've been searching information here. Everytime I've opened this thread I find a lot of guest (now 4 members, 13 guest). Do you know what it means? There isn't another way to know what is happening, and trolling isn't the best idea.

I think this is an opportunity to think about the Amiga comunity and our behaviour.

I'm very angry. It has been 3 days without knowing what is happening with EAB and the more normal thing is to search in another Amiga forum. I've searched in two of them (well, three). In the first they closed the thread saying
" OK, it's relevant to our interests that one of our fellow Amiga sites is currently offline, but we really don't need "still down" updates from everyone who tries! As for why they're offline, there are a number of reasons I can think of, but I wouldn't care to speculate. I'm sure we'll find out once they're back online.

As such, I'm closing this thread. I think its work has been done!"

No, I don't think that was done (IMHO).

... And here I'm glad that no moderator has closed this thread, but a trolling post can be worse.
