Hi:
It seems it costs more than the 32Gb Transcend CF I bought at GoiBuy for 62€, and will do the same.

The easiest way to install it is within WinUAE using Smart File System.

You can find the best tutorial here: http://wiki.classicamiga.com/How_to_install_SFS_onto_a_real_Harddrive_within_WinUAE

The only problem I found with big CF in my case was with the internal CD Rom: the system crashed after installing Idefix, but it was solved using the Idefix patch you can find at Aminet.

Remember to make an small bootable partition. I believe 500Mb is a good measure. Some people say 400MB, others 1Gb.
A1200, Lateral 32GB CF, internal Dvd, ACA 1230/56 with an MKII Fast ATA at 9,5Mb/s, another A1200 BPPC project in progress (more or less), and posting from my own/better C64x in my Tv using Hdmi.

The Wiki Amiga tutorial I've put is good to install SMS, but they have another tutorial about big partitions:
http://wiki.classicamiga.com/Installing_a_large_Harddrive_(4GB_or_larger)
Sorry, I don't know what happens with the link, really there is text in the page. Try google search "Installing a large Harddrive (4GB or larger)"

And remember you don't have to use the "-disableharddrivesafetycheck". If you use Windows XP no problem, and if you have Windows Vista only have to create a WinUAE shortcut on the desktop, right click on it and select "execute as administrator", to use your own HD.

I have SMS in my 32gb CF and goes right.

EDIT: (Well, disableharddrivesafetycheck is used in old WinUAE versions, but not in the latest)

"Write endurance 80years@10GBytes write and erase per day at 32GB <-- that is way better than CF"

I think I will use my CF the 30 years it supports, and I believe for then (year 2040) I could change it for a 10 Terabytes HD in the same room, but if you prefer waiting 80 years, that's ok....
