I use to be a huge fan of the SSI games like Champions of Krynn, Death Knights of Krynn and the others you mention here. Couldn't play them again though; the graphics look so poor now I couldn't imagine trying to play them all over again! The New World series of Might and Magic games truly took me into another world, they were massive and highly addictive. The New World and SSI games were some of my best child memories from playing games along with Bards Tale, Dungeon Master, Chaos Strikes Back and the almost-legendary Captive! Must admit I have played Captive since... the graphics although aged are still very comfortably and great to look even now in 2012... the gameplay and level designs are also very 'captivating'. Captive a true classic in every sense of the word.
