Terminal Program for Vampire 500v2

I am looking for the RS232 Terminal program that would can use the HDMI output on the Vampire card.   I got NCOMM to work on the RGB out, but would love to have that works with the RS232.

I plan on doing Packet radio and the WifiRS232 (telnet bbs) with the program.  

Is there a way to config NCOMM or is there something nicer out there?

I am sure there must be.

It has been a while since I used NCOMM, but does it not allow you to open up on a public screen or set up a P96 screen on its own?

Btw - something that kinda baffles with me with everyone showing off Vampire on Youtube - not once have I seen anyone use ModePro, which allows you to promote programs to use P96 screens instead of native PAL/NTSC screens. For example Sysinfo, AIBB etc work just as fine on P96 screen modes.

Hummm. I don't think I would like that at all. You mean someone can't just stick a Vampire in their system and then install "regular 3.9", perhaps with some updated math libraries, or the like?

How legal do you think this "ApolloOS" is?

Not at all, on the other hand most Amiga users probably own OS3.9 already.

I would not be so sure about that, considering that not that many A500 and A600 systems were running OS3.9 before.

The funny part here is that the Apollo project now appears to have its own operating system, which in reality is a pirate OS3.9 distro. It makes them very vulnerable, and even attractive for legal actions. They may even risk the deal they have about the modified kickstarts that Vampire cards ship with.

Anyways, potentially lots of fun drama on the amiga boards in the time coming :laughing:
