Since I live in the future and my home is native IPv6, MOS/O4/AROS only is a no-go.

That is a poorly worded statement. You live in the present and hope for a future.

Further, I see nothing stopping any of those OS' from supporting future internet standards like IPv6, so I have no idea why you brought it up.

I live in the future, because in my present, IPv6 is not a future internet standard, but one that's already more than a decade old. Or it might just happen that you live in the past, take your pick.

I've been bringing up the issue about IPv6 for more than a decade now, you see I live in the future and my home has been IPv6 native since 2005. Don't believe me? Try searching the Miami mailing lists - Holger Kruse was the only amiga developer ever who ever did anything in regards to IPv6, I was whining about it already back then. The things stopping any of the AmigaOS "spin offs" from supporting this decade+ old internet standard is ignorance, highly optimistic views on what routers can do, and a huge faith in that IPv6 will never happen.

And just some quick links to back up my statement:

Holger Kruse mentioning IPv6 in 1999 - allthough he never really got started on it, he knew it was ahead. Implementing multicast support in MiamiDx was one milestone on the way, as MC is mandatory for IPv6 to work.

Me whining about IPv6 support in MiamiDx back in 2000 on the REBOL mailing list.

I never said IPv6 wasn't important, kolla. IPv4 is virtually obsolete, so change is inevitable.
What I don't understand is why you think OS support for IPv6 isn't possible to introduce.

I don't think it's impossible, I just think noone is interested in doing it, and regardless, it's waaaay late in the game now. To be of any use, all applications in use that supports tcp/ip need to be partly rewritten and updated as well.
