That so many Brits are unable to comprehend that the British isles (and Scandinavia for that matter) is part of Europe, and that Europe is a geographical term and not a political one, says alot about their educational system.

Definetly central Europe in my view.

The term "eastern Europe" is still largely associated with countries that were part of the Warszawa pact + Jugoslavia. Or alternatively, any country with slavic speaking population + the Baltics, Hungary, Romania, and eastern Germany ofcourse.

What i find amusing is that there are still alot of people who say "Czechoslovakia" :)
