Synchronous multiprocessing

You mean symmetric multiprocessing?

I think it's now appearant why AmigaOS doesn't have either.

I now read the whole 3 pages and still I'm asking myself why AOS should need multicore-support.
I guess there are lots of more important things to be done. First of all we need software.

If you write software first, then all this software would most likely need to be ported afterwards when you change the OS. Most Amiga software is already written, it's the OS that really lags behind, in just about all areas.

All software can take advantage of SMP, it doesn't have to be written for it.

Oh, but it has to be ported to this new AmigaOS that does SMP :)
