It has more point than wasting resources/effort on insanely expensive custom HW, though.
Sure, allthough, with some luck the failure of the X1000 will burn Hermans and Hyperion so badly that they perhaps reconsider wasting their lives on screwing around as they have lately.
Also, most of the Mac HW we're adding support for is very similar to each other. Adding support for them doesn't take excessive resources.
Till now, perhaps - but considering what hardware there is left to support, hardware with either wireless or card slots, this may very well change.
