Do people actually use real Amiga's to surf the web?
Sounds painful.
Considering how slow that would be, when do you folks find time to eat or defecate?
People these days seem to be under the impression that anything under a gigahertz is incapable of running a basic web browser. It's seriously not that impossible - a moderately upgraded Amiga is on par with the kind of machines that were used for web browsing back in the old days. It ain't
zippy, but it's certainly not that unusable. (The truth is just that your modern multi-gigahertz machine isn't as much faster as you think it is, outside of certain specific cases...)
Personally, I don't use my A1200 as much as I should - I'm currently trying to get it set up to do a little more, such as MIDI editing and animation. Ultimately my intention is for it to be a development platform for my game projects, I just haven't gotten around to those yet...
