I'm sure my opinion won't be shared with anyone else but I think AmigaOS should have continued on as a desktop environment for Linux, much like like KDE and Gnome.
How would
that have worked? The internals are absolutely nothing like Linux. If you just want a window manager that looks like Intuition, there's amiwm, but a window manager does not an OS make.
