A low-cost portable OS4 compatible computer has too much chance (however slight) of being an actual success for them to ever risk releasing it.

Heh, no kidding...you have to wonder what goes on in their heads...

I wouldn't assume it's out of production if they've removed older models from their site but not that one. (And it's not the only PPC machine on their site, there's also this thing.) Though there's so little information on production or ordering that it's hard to say one way or the other. S'pose someone could email them and ask...

Does Timberwolf coordinate with TenFourFox at all? They know their stuff over there; I've run modern TenFourFox versions usably on a 500MHz G3, and quite satisfactorily on a 1GHz G4.
