Gwion: Is this the A1200 that had the ROM problem ? Have you fixed that ?? Didn't it have "display" problems before ???
Can you let us know if the tv modulator works to a tv in colour ?

Does the 520 work on an A500 in colour ?

Gwion, the composite output shouldn't be affected by the screw being pushed in, as that is only for the RF UHF modulator.

I guess you are telling us that you can see a picture from the RF output but that it is distorted and in black and white, and the same when you try the composite output ?

Just in case this is some odd driver problem, have you confirmed that it does the same when booting from a floppy disk game ? I aasume you normally boot from a hard disk ? Please clarify  :-)
