All my listings have poor spelling and bad grammar, so what are you saying? :-).       

It's par for the course for Canadians I guess? You  can't even grasp simple concepts like gender and how it's the SAME as  biological sex i.e. whether you've got XX (female) or XY (male)  chromosomes is a given! Anyone would think that non-polar sexual  identity scales are a hard fact based science rather than a way of  trying to justify 'swinging' both ways or refusing to treat children  with some sort of identity trauma! In the sad case below it's simply to  confuse their child even further in an confusing world. Chromosomes are  an absolute in regards to gender! The same sort of absolutes occur on  eBay; never to trust an ebayer that can't be bothered to spell check us  use proper grammar! ;-)

It's called stopping the rot and holding on to common sense (and having a bit of a laugh at the expense of non-polar pushing deluded hippy parents to be honest)! If no one  gets a handle on this political correct nonsense next thing we know the  Welsh Assembly will get crazy outlandish ideas too and will start  prosecuting parents for lovingly disciplining their OWN children. Heaven  forbid we try bringing up well behaved well adjusted children rather  than mollycoddled and overly sensitive safe space loving little Buddhas!  If you're going to define this century by ridiculous liberal agenda  ideas then you need a few jibes directed your way too. Next you'll be  campaigning for the right to marry animals! :-)

Oh yeah and  enough with the cussing! I guess a lapse into potty mouth is directly  related to a lack of discipline whilst growing up too? That or too much  Eastenders?

Again the only people in this non-polar debate that actually feel the effect of anyone 'forcing' ideas upon them are the children of the liberal parents who 'decide' that they should have their biological sex 'hidden' from them so that the 'deviants' can better suggest alternative 'lifestyles' they might prefer to 'choose'!

Next we'll be saying it's ok for eBay scammers to try and sell their imaginery wares because it's their economic misfortune that is resposible for their 'need' to try and deceive the rest of us!

The link between the two subjects is common sense. The fact  I brought up smacking was because I was talking to JJ the Welshman and  the Welsh Assembly is attempting to change the law to prosecute well  meaning and loving parents. It is common sense to discipline your  children and that sometimes includes smacking as a last resort and deterrent against repeatedly unacceptable or dangerous behaviour. That liberals can't compute such an argument isn't really the point as it's up to the individual parents as to how they raise their own kids! As stated already, denying a child understanding of their biological sex / gender is far more akin to child abuse than reasonable discipline IMHO!

spaceman88  was trying to argue that bad grammar and spelling should be excused on  eBay and my tongue in cheek point was that standards have dropped and  that Canadians no longer understand what gender is never mind the rules of spelling  and grammar ;-)

Perfectly sensible points were we living in a sane culture that isn't trying to eat itself!

Banning smacking isn't 'modern' and since no country in Europe has  banned it apart from Sweden and France you're with the minority view point not me.  Why should we follow the will of the Council of Europe and take their foolish recommendations on board? Parents are 99% of the time able to decide what's right in regards to their own children and that includeds smacking as a reasoned and measured last resort for repeated unacceptable or dangerous behaviour. And how is using a load of %&?! marks more 'hipster' than using the  phrase 'potty mouth' or the word 'cussing'. I am not 'old' although  admittedly I am a dad and don't appreciate casual swearing just to get a  reaction or to try and limit free speech (are millenials aware of that  concept I wonder).

You're neither as 'representative' of current  majority views as you make out nor are you as 'progressive' as you  consider yourself. Your concern should be for the proper discipline of  unruly children to avoid an unruly and unproductive adult population  that thinks the whole world owes them a living because they got away  with being a little Buddha when they were growing up! I don't dislike  change only regressive change as is happening in the UK and especially  in socialist strongholds where the NHS is crumbling despite investment.  It's the leadership in these councils that is the issue not the money  available! The Labour councils of South Wales are not fit for purpose  and the Welsh voters (especially in the valleys) won't attempt to stop  them because they'd vote for a red rosette on a donkey.

You  think abortion and infanticide is 'progressive' read your history and  see that the Romans were way ahead of you. You want to leave aside the  disciplining of the next generation? Bear in mind that it's something  that was discussed in the Bible hence this foolish view needed  correction even back then and the outcomes are not helping 'modern' day  classrooms;

I'll repeat the acusation that you probably think eBay scammers aren't to blame for their own con-artist actions because they were most probably 'victims' of the economic situation they find themselves in and are "just trying to provide for their familes"!

Have you ever thought about obtaining an informed opinion of your own? How about reading a RANGE of different newspapers to get a balanced view and actually thinking about the implication of your wacko ideas when they are used as policy in the REAL world?
