Ok, the floppy was my bad...I had the ribbon cable upside down.

I've started WB3.1, and commented out the idefix lines in the startup and I've got back my wb.

It basically locks when it runs c:Idefix. I was told that Idefix won't play nicely with CF cards....I guess that's the issue ?
i installed idefix97  never had a problem  ..use new icons  not magic workbench ..
actually used a different version of idefix ..from a coverdisc  an used my idefix97 install registration it worked as well ...though i get a conflict when tryin to use a usb cdrom ..just freezes  the machine  ..though a usb harddrive  works ..weird
