i would love a working ppc/68k card ...but considering at present im running a blizzard card with 030/50 fpu/mmu an scsi attached which has served me very well ..where as in my cupboard is a 040 card an a ppc/040 card ..both which have just stopped working for no reason i can work out ..ram maybe or power supply but i spent a lot of money on the 040 an ppc card ..bout 350 for the 040 an i think about 600.00 for the ppc ..its old technology ..no warranty ..high risk .
an yes if a 060 comes along or a ppc at a good price i may be tempted ..but to do what with ?? ..my 1200 does everything i want games whdownload ..with usb an a aga indivision its easily the best 1200 i ever had, some nights i just point mystic view to the pictures directory an watch my amiga display 100s pics an wallpapers .....ive considered one of the new ppc boards to run 0s4 ..an probably i think thats the way to go ..in australia they are rare ..so thats no gonna happen for a while ..even been tempted to buy a 2nd hand g4 ..good prices now just to try morph os ...its a hobby to me ...planning to fix my 030 for my a500 an play with it during the french open tennis ..that will prob start me off again upgrading the a500 this time ..oh an if someone in sydney australia knows how to fix a used 040 or ppc ..message me ..never know maybe they can live again !!
