It depends on who made the converter, some stick to the USB specs, others are "close enough".. and some only have closed source Windows & Mac drivers :pissed:
At least with a Vario you know it`ll work..
Have a look on the
E3B USB page, it has a list of stuff that`s known to work or not work. (I know the page is Highway/Algor/Subway specific, but it uses the same USB stack as the Spider)
BTW, why use a USB->Parallel converter for a printer?? Why not get a new USB one?
