Have you seen the price of PCMCIA connectors in small quantities?
Also, add in the price for a small run of PCBs to solder them to.

I was gonna build one myself, but after I priced it up it was cheaper to buy one ready made.

Hey, take it easy Chain. That was a novel way of solving a problem.
I was only taking issue with the 'overpriced' comment, not slamming you for trying something different. (BTW. I you'd have said 'expensive' I'd agree with you.)
