Probably not, the bottleneck is still the A1200's IDE interface (~2.5MB/s).

@Argus, when you say it boots in a second, is that into Workbench?
 I can get 3.9 booted in about 6-7 secs on my CF card.

Not much at all, I tend to use my A1200 as a test machine so I don't need any bells and whistles on it. IIRC, the only thing its got left in WBStartup is AsyncWB and ToolsDaemon (just cos I prefer having my most used apps available from a drop down menu instead of Amidock)
