I think Chain meant the FFS patch on aminet is an older version (40.19) whilst the last FFS beta was 40.20, since he mentioned updating the filesystem.

Edit.
I've just had a (very)quick look at FFS 43.20, and if you've got a hex editor somewhere loadup the filesystem, goto addr $0000655A, it should contain 4A80,6B02.
Changing them to 4E71,4E71 should remove the date compare and stop the annoying messages.
Then save it and update your HD with the patched FFS.

Or install SFS  :-P

how it can be removed? is there any patch for patch :-?
(okay, i mean for Loadv43module :)

I don't see any messages like that in Loadv43module, only in the v43 scsi devices and FFS.
Did patchstrip give any error messages? check again cos you might have had a 'blonde moment' and installed the old unpatched device.

Edit..
Just to make sure, have you tried LoadModule from aminet instead of LoadV43Module?

LoadV43module= v43scsi device?
what is that patchstrip? is it still the same thing?

a300.ld.strip is the v43 scsi.device, LoadV43module is just a program to load it at startup.

Patchstrip.lha [Aminet] will remove the date check and create a new file for LoadV43Module to load.

Or if you're using Piru's Blizkick, it has a module to load the new scsi.device too, including removing the datecheck.

great, where did you find scsi43_23.lha ?

Typical, Google is showing nothing for it now  :pissed: , although I found it twice the other day !
I did find a page with scsi_ide v43.24 amongst other things. From the readme, it's just 43.23 but with a bit more timeout on the device recognition.

Edit..
Just found scsi_ide 43.23, FFS v40.20 ,setpatch 43.6 etc
