Nope, that`s not normal.. the rightmost 22 pins on P9B are the clockport.
 There was a small batch of 1200`s made with the pins on the wrong side, usual CBM quality control :pissed:

 Any decent electronics repair shop should be able to fix it

Nope, there are no parts apart from the header itself.

Personally, I wouldn`t remove the old pins, just trim them down to avoid shorting on any clockport card, as it`s not worth the risk of lifting a solder pad.

BTW, if the original poster was having trouble getting a new header, RS components have them,just look for 2mm IDC headers.

Nope it`s marked correctly, the entire connector is P9B.. P9A is the one above the chip mem.
