There's no real support for "modern hardware" by your examples.  Most  AROS drivers are for hardware that's several years old now.  If you're  really interested in developing for AROS You might want to consider  installing linux dual-boot and running a linux hosted AROS environment  built from one of the publicly accessible git repos.  Jason's is probably the most complete  at https://gitorious.org/aros/aros
