Yes, it should work fine.  What are your symptoms?

I am unable to test, as it is now set up at work (EIDE 99 and working perfectly).

I'm sure I had it in my IDEfix 97 to test the card when it failed to work in a plain A1200 with floppy disk power.

(The problem turned out to be switched cables on the floppy power, resulting in a blown card.  The CF adaptor survived though, and as mentioned is currently in use.)

What cabling are you using?  I used a 3.5" - 2.5" which had a power plug on one end (unused) and plugged into the 2.5" connector.

It's possible my memory is failing in my old age and I used the A1200 internal, but I don't think so!
