AmiBay or eBay?

Put in on Amibay, you set a fixed price and don't pay any fees, you can even ask the buyer to pay the PayPal fee.

Sure you might make a bit more on eBay but after all the fees probably less and more hassle than Amibay

I've sold a lot of stuff there and no real problems to report.

I like Amibay for selling your items.
But if you want to buy something, its like lottery, when you need something badly, you cant find it and where it suddenly appears, someone else ask for it first, no bidding.
Also i cant imagine to buy something and get nothing, from someone who is selling over amibay for the first time, how you get your money back?

If you are buying through any forum unless you trust that person 100% make sure you pay with the PayPal 'goods' option this will give you PayPal protection if the seller turns out to be a fraud.

If the seller is insistent on you using an unsecured payment method such as bank transfer of the 'PayPal 'gift' option you can always walk away or in the latter you can offer to pay the PayPal fee's if they accept your 'goods' payment or raise you a proper invoice, if the seller is genuine I'm sure they would accommodate

I've never heard of anyone reading private messages on Amibay, I think you dreamed that one up.

You are free to set whatever price you like and rules forbid any comment on the price so I don't understand how you can think the moderation team want to control the price, they do not.

Pretty much everything you write about Amibay is BS, any tread that has the mention of Amibay you turn into this personal rant of yours.

You broke the rules, you got banned, get over it.
