A2000 CV3D Scandoubler
« on: February 11, 2010, 12:46:20 AM »
I'm thinking about upgrade my A2000 from Picasso II+ to something which can display 1024x768x16 bit non interlaced. The coolest things in Picasso II are: passthrough (work perfect with A2320), works with Lightwave. :)

1. CyberVision3D + Scandoubler, but I heard that it will not work with A2000? I must modify video slot? And this SD can handle V:60 Hz (for display PAL on LCD?)? Is it possible to overclock CV3D by software (or hardware) to run faster in Zorro II?

Maybe I should choose something else?

2. GVP Spectrum 28/24? Also passthrough and it can display 1024x768x16 bit non interlaced http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardware.cgi?HARDID=451,

3. Picasso IV is very expensive, maybe Piccolo SD64? It has got 4 MB VRAM and it's passthroug. Is it quite fast (faster than PII)?

BTW: Is it possible to have 60 Hz (PAL on LCD) with A2320 or I must buy IndivisionECS?
