I have asked many times on various forums how the hell do you get the required negative voltages needed to run an Amiga/C64 motherboard to a deafening....silence lol

The C-64 and C-128 run on +5VDC and 9VAC. No negative voltages needed, so what's the problem?

For the Amiga 500/600/1200 you need 0.1A of -12VDC in addition to +5VDC and +12VDC.

If you really insist on using a power supply that only supplies positive voltages, this seems to be a good building block for a -12VDC voltage source:

I guess I swallowed the hook.
