It's quite dead, but the linux kernel part is still being developed by Gary Colville..
H&P have basically disowned the thing and Harald Frank is the only original party that's still involved. He's been promising a load of updates, hope they're great once we get them.
Bernie released his Linux wrappers + Amithlon side devices, so we can now use Linux kernel modules for audio and network from the Amithlon side.
For buying Amithlon, your best bet is eBay.. Some retailers still have it in stock, so forget the "illegal to sell" and buy it from the retailers if you can still find it.
