you mentioned games like Monkey Island before, and that's an adventure game I know, but if you like that, then you should know that Simon the Sorcerer II is a game, quite newly released for the Amiga, that is a blast to play.
Btw, anyone into Interactive Fiction here? (textbased games... you know, Infocom stuff.. :-D)
