Cinnamon .80 crashes on startup Amiga OS 4.1FE on X5000

Anyone have Cinnamon Writer working?

Fresh install and crashes and startup of app for me.

X5000 running Amiga OS 4.1FE

nope. then again, i've always had issues with 'cinnamon writer' on all my amigas. i much prefer the 68K solutions like wordworth or amigawriter.

Are AmigaWriter and Wordworth abandon-ware or able to be purchased new still?  Or only buy on eBay some older versions?

Yeah -- it doesn't work. However, the latest version DOES work!

The Cinnamon .85beta does boot and seems to work.  So I will use it a bit.  Saving as .docx seems different.  Uses ZIP somehow?  Not sure I follow that but places a .ZIP file where I saved it as .docx.  Will have to look into that more.

Yes, I hear great things about Final Writer.  Wonder if we will see an Amiga OS 4.x compatible version?
