Use the SCART if it works. The composite inputs generate more blurry images and on my A1200, were susceptible to interference from the power usage of the hard drive.
The 9-pin adapter can be used also, but don't bother with digital mode. If it's in digital mode it will limit your machine to 16 colors. If it's in analog mode it will look identical to the SCART signal.
