Even if it was true, it wouldn't matter as his mother was a US citizen.
Since John McCain was born in Panama, if the country you were born in was important, then neither of the last presidential candidate would have been viable (by your twisted logic).
At the time McCain was born, the Panama Canal Zone was a US territory (in much the same way as Hong Kong was once a British territory). He also needed special permission from congress to run for the presidency because he wasn't born in the U.S. proper.
As far as politics is concerned, I'd rather have both Obama and McCain thrown out of the election than to have the situation we have now. But this is quickly turning into one of those coffeehouse threads that I seldom post to.
