I think your second link is broken. But whether or not an RGB to VGA adapter will work well depends on the monitor you're hooking it to. If you have an ordinary VGA monitor it will require a scan doubler such as the IndivisionAGA which will be coming out with a new batch shortly. Otherwise you'll be stuck with using the AGA mode promotion which doesn't work well even if it does work.
