Hollywood is only suitable for making 24-bit video and, as such, it is typically too slow on the classic Amigas.  It works great on PowerPC systems running MorphOS or AmigaOS 4 or Pentiums running AROS.  Also, it includes cross-compilers with any version of Hollywood that you buy so you can create fast games for any of those platforms even if you only have one of them.  (I'd recommend having testers anyway, however.)

Hollywood is a multimedia authoring package with an optional GUI-based syntax-highlighting editor called Hollywood Designer which adds PowerPoint-like functionality to it.  Unlike PowerPoint, Hollywood presentations and games can be compiled to all available machine languages so it will run without an external player.
