SCART connectors aren't an option on an NTSC system.  Since he has MORE graphics than is visible, that means he's on an NTSC system.

I'd recommend the second option since most software for the Amiga runs in PAL mode.  I'm in the same situation as you though, my 1084S monitor died years ago.

Sorry, I hadn't seen that second thread.  I just figured that if he was displaying an NTSC image on a PAL TV it would have a thick border at the bottom.
