The A1200's power supply box is actually an A600 power supply. It is too flimsy to run more than a stock A1200 on and getting a new power supply is wise. The A600 can probably run on less power since it is only 16-bit but I'd recommend getting at least an A500 power supply for the A1200 if not a Bigfoot or some other similar ATX-to-A1200 retrofit kit.
