In SkaleTracker you can turn off the sample interpolation for the crisp sound if you want to.  Most people don't, which is why WinAmp doesn't have an option for it.

Not in the latest version of WinAmp.

What is more disturbing is that WinAmp's module player is adapted from MikMod.  This is the same module player that is used in SDL_Mixer and therefore in SimplePlay on AmigaOS 4.  :oops:
