I would suggest asking
Hyperion Entertainment if it is feasable first. If you need a Linux compatabiltiy layer as you mentioned in the other thread I'd suggest looking into
AROS hosted under Linux unless memory constraints prevent it. Another option would be
Zeta (formerly known as BeOS) as it has some POSIX compliance.
Firefox and OpenOffice.org are slowly being ported to AOS4 but it isn't going to happen overnight. Each has dependancies on other projects that have to be completed first.
