I'm just trying to prepare for the day when my A1200 won't turn on again. Too many good memories to lose... now I just need to start moving my thousands floppy disks onto the PC! 
Good plan! Since you'd need a Catweasel controller to get them to work on the PC or AmigaOne anyway and floppies wear out with use...
