Um, Linux is not the issue here - obviously some Linux nut is finding material to wank over hard to find.

Microsoft chose akamai or wateva they are called *purely* because 1) They already exist so Microsoft doesnt have to create a similar system (taking time and we all know how lazy they are)  2) The akamai system is location based routing reducing DDoS load on any particular server.

At no point is there a choice by Microsoft to choose Linux, they chose akamai, regardless of what OS it uses.  If akamai used amigaOS the decision wouldnt have been swayed.  Or MonkeymadnessOS or QNX-RTOS or fishmonkeyOS


Honestly, this sort of twisted concluding that Microsoft somehow has bit the dust and decided Linux is better makes me desire the Judgement day Terminator 3 displays - great movie BTW................
