Why MOS continues to be 'amiga-related' is beyond me.  For crying out loud - MOS IS NOT AMIGA ANYTHING.  It has a layer to run classic apps, gee wow - other platforms do too!  They amiga ?  perhaps all amiga is now is a layer to run apps on top of other crap ?  I Don't think so!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There needs to be greater segregation between this Morphan crap and the REAL AMiGA.

But to say MOS isn't Amiga related is wrong

Well if Im so misdirected please explain to my simple mind how MorphOS is 'Amiga-Related'.

It's kernel is not even a close derivative of the Amiga kernel or it's friends.

The ONLY connection is the emulation layer, which works well because of the fact MOS runs the same processor as AOS.

Next you'll be telling me that Apple Computers are 'amiga-related'.  Honestly, I think the line should be drawn a lot closer to home before the stains start to appear on this turf which you claim is ours.

Either way, it's definitely Amiga related & was even being considered *as* OS4 at one time.

Right, it's related as far as Apples are, Microsoft is and basically everything in the computer world.  It does however, hold no relevance to the consumer of Amiga products because it isnt the AmigaOS nor is it a product that uses AmigaOS.

And you are wrong with the consideration.  MOS guys were offered a position with the OS4 team but rejected it because they were quite happy with their rebellious amigawannabe MOS system.  At no stage was MOS ever considered for the future AOS.

You should really check your sources !!

You do realise that the above is the most common, indirect way of calling someone a liar.

I think the offense caused would be obvious this far down this post.  If not then too bad, body language is the only way left.

Have you ever actually *tried* MOS? If not, your whole argument is completely meaningless, in the same way the arguments of people who have never used a real Amiga for many years are meaningless against OS4 and the AmigaONE.

I've tried MOS, for the sole purpose of being able to say I've tried it.  I know you are jumping at the chance to label me a meaningless poster.

I can understand why my friends have given up their public mingling, because of people like you, who feel justified,  and stick like glue about the validity of every post they make.

Unfortunately for you, because I am here unofficially - I can tell you to stick your anti-createcoms where the sun don't shine and not cause the company any grief ;-)

And no more paranoia responses - if this isnt clear then its time to wipe the mud from your eyes.

Let 'em fight it out with hardware and software, not words.

And in the meantime, you'll do your best to suppress all those who have such material in front of them from being patriotic to the realism which is.  Almost as if you want this to carry on forever, so your purpose remains - which it seems, is to stir the water until it is very mirky indeed.

Why do I need to ask anyone when I was there?

Oh well, I've got OS4 and new HW - MOS is but a stain on the curtain down the road at this point in time.
