Removing Waffle
« on: August 09, 2005, 07:32:23 PM »
How do I remove the waffle off WindowsXP (such as the rubbish games that came with it). What can I safely remove without Windows becoming even more unstable than it already is.
I have also just installed SuSE Linux 9.1. I would like to remove the Windows altogether, but PGit :smack:  (who's account here I have hijacked, thinks this would be a bad idea.)

Does Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf work on Linux. If it does not, we will also be installing Linux on my dad's computer to stop him wasting hours at a time playing golf games.

EDIT:
The real PGIT here. My sister, otherwise known as the Witterence wrote the above (she is too lazy to set up an account). Her system has a dual boot and would removing windows mess this up. Also the university network may not be compatable with Linux (I.E the one in Hull.)

Ho una cintura nera. Tu sei ricco sfondato? :roflmao:

I was meaning the crap games, plus other useless papahernalia, that came with WinXP (the ones where it says games in programs). We know how to remove all the "important" programmes, but for some stupid reason, we cannot get gates etc off.

Can I access the Internet from Hull Uni accommodation without Exploiter? The answer to this question would solve a lot of pronlems.

:-x She used my account again!
As for is she fit. Well she does beleieve in healthy living if that's what you mean.

We were going to try and install Linux on my dad's PC but I doubt there's room for a dual boot and while I would be glad to remove WindowsME most of our software (especially the games) aren't Linux compatible.

There has been some interest expressed in my sister, maybe I should sell her on Ebay.
