Amiga computing firsts in general don't get recognized by the mainstream - so comes as no surprise they'd continue that pattern with software.
I have also noticed this. If the first was done on the Amiga, they often; Don't mention it or give credit to another platform for it.
I am not sure why but a lot of people out there seem to pretent the Amiga never existed or vehementely attack anything to do with it. Look at the comments on any mention of anything to do with the Amiga on places like slashdot.
This seems to include Commodore the company in general but people seem to be a little more willing to give credit to the C64 in general.
