These places you should also check:
- Is there a firewall possibly blocking your Amiga/it's IP?
- Is your Amiga's static IP known to the Router and linked to it's hostname?
- Is the Amiga's IP in the range of hosts.allow on the router (or outside the range of hosts.deny)?
Using a different machine instead of the A1200, but using the same IP may also help finding the error.
